"Teacher's Night Out" at Jamestown Piano Shop.
Jamestown Piano Shop recently hosted their annual "Teacher's Night Out". Special guest pianists from the upcoming fall benefit concert for the Southeast Georgia Health System Cancer Care Center, "5 Grands 20 Hands," performed selections from their upcoming benefit concert that will be presented on September 16th and 17th at Wesley United Methodist Church.
Hosting the "Teacher's Night Out" was Kevin Padgett, owner, and staff members: Nora, Joni, Luann, April and Lauren. The local teachers in attendance were shown new teaching materials and treated to the special preview concert. Jamestown Piano Shop provided giveaways throughout the evening to include: Gift bags, teacher discounts and a grand prize drawing. The evening provided a special time for the teachers to share their own teaching ideas (and challenges) with each other while informally socializing around the refreshment table or perusing new instructional materials.
"Teacher's Night Out is a way for us to recognize the music teacher's efforts in our community who provide a valuable and rewarding service. Jamestown Piano Shop feels that music transcends many barriers, to include language, and provides a source of entertainment and satisfaction to all who take part." - Kevin Padgett
We appreciate all the piano and music teachers who were able to attend. The "5 Grands 20 Hands" performers for the upcoming concert are: Claudia Theise, Donna Nilsson, Deidre Singleton, Rhonda Hambright, David Crawford, Ann Dempsey, Beverly Fetter, Michelle Jamieson, Ann Nermoe and Amy Bishop.
